5 Days Kampala City and the Nile River Safari
This 5 Days Kampala City and Nile River Safari will take you for an exploration of Jinja the Nile City with a concentration on the Nile and also the Murchison Falls which is also known as the World’s Most Powerful Waterfall. You will visit Ndere Cultural Center for a Cultural experience. While there you will be fully immersed into Uganda’s rich Cultural diversity as you will watch different cultural dances since Uganda is blessed with over 56 tribes all with Unique Cultures.
Drive through the busy City and visit various destinations including the Uganda Museum where you will learn about the History of Uganda. Also visit the famous Nakasero Market filled with fresh Ugandan food including fresh bananas locally known as matooke, fresh fruits among others. You will then visit Gadhafi mosque the largest mosque in Uganda. Have a briefing about the necessary safety precautions of rafting and you will also be divided into groups for your rafting experience as you head to the starting point. Later proceed for a full day white water rafting experience on the Nile River as you enjoy drifting through the strong tides along the Nile

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your Hotel in Kampala City – Ndere Cultural Encounter
This 5 Days Kampala City and the Nile River Safari will start with a pick up from Entebbe International Airport by our Professional driver guide from Bonobos African Safari Holidays who will meet and greet you, he will then brief you about your Safari and thereafter transfer you to your Hotel in Kampala City where you will check in for a mouth-watering lunch.
Later, you will proceed to Ndere Cultural Center for a Cultural experience, while there you will be fully immersed into Uganda’s rich Cultural diversity as you will watch different cultural dances since Uganda is blessed with over 56 tribes all with Unique Cultures. You will then return back to your accommodation for your freshly prepared dinner as well as an overnight.

Day 2: Kampala city tour
Your day 2 of the Safari will begin with a delicious morning breakfast and thereafter you will proceed for the famous Kampala City Tour. You will drive through the busy City and visit various destinations including the Uganda Museum where you will learn about the History of Uganda.
Explore Kabaka’s Palace. Whether you call it Lubiri or Mengo, is home to the Kabaka, the king of Buganda Kingdom. It is located in Kampala, at the heart of Uganda. It comprises of both the supernatural or spiritual and the material kings. In Buganda, there is one official palace situated at Mengo called Mengo palace and it`s considered to be the capital of the Kingdom. All the official functions in the Kingdom are performed from Mengo palace. However, the ruling King has a right to own his private palace apart from the official palace at Mengo.
You will also visit the famous Nakasero Market filled with fresh Ugandan food including fresh bananas locally known as matooke, fresh fruits among others. You will then visit Gadhafi mosque the largest mosque in Uganda. Later you will return back to your accommodation for your finger-licking lunch and then spend the rest of the day relaxing as you await your dinner. Finally in the evening, you can opt to go for an experience of Kampala’s night life or have a relaxed overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Jinja – Discovery of the Nile River
Upon waking up on your day 3 of the 5 Days Kampala City and the Nile River Safari, you will have your delicious morning breakfast and check out of your Hotel. You will thereafter drive for about 3 to 4 hours to Jinja City. During your journey, you will have a panoramic view of the largest forest in Uganda which is Mabira Forest, enjoy the fascinating beauty of the Jinja Bridge as you arrive in Jinja also known as the Nile City.
You will check into your lodge for a finger-licking lunch and later in the afternoon, you will embark on an afternoon boat trip to discover the source of the Nile as you enjoy the rolling plains overlooking the Nile River. See different local arts and craft work at the source of the Nile and opt to buy some souvenirs to remind you about the beauty of Uganda.

Day 4: Jinja – White Water Rafting Experience
After delighting on your breakfast on day 4, you will have a briefing about the necessary safety precautions of rafting and you will also be divided into groups for your rafting experience as you head to the starting point. You will then proceed for a full day white water rafting experience on the Nile River as you enjoy drifting through the strong tides along the Nile. This activity will give you an adrenaline rush as you enjoy the waters. After the rafting experience, you will have lunch and relax at the Nile. You will later return to your lodge for dinner as well as an overnight.
