DAY 2: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park
DAY 3: All day game drives
DAY 4: Transfer to Amboseli National Park

DETAILED ITINENARY for 10 Days Best of Kenya Wildlife
DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
On arrival at the Airport, you will met by a representative from Bonobos African Safari Holidays. He will welcome you to this friendly and hospitable county. You will then transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2: NAIROBI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
Will depart Nairobi for Tsavo National Park. The journey will be by train departing from Nairobi train station to Voi train station. The journey is approximately 5 hours. You will arrive in time for Lunch. Afternoon game drive in Tsavo East National park ending with sundowner.

DAY 3: TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK
This day you will explore Tsavo East National Park “Theatre of the Wild”. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilometer long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.

DAY 4: TSAVO EAST- TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Tsavo west the “Land of Lava, springs, Man-Eaters & Magical Sunsets” is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. It has got fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows.
The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler. You will then proceed to Amboseli National park

DAY 5: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
Known as the “Home of the African Elephant” and crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture.

DAY 6: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAIVASHA
Early breakfast you will transfer to Lake Naivasha via Nairobi. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon you may relax at the swimming pool or enjoy boat ride in the lake (Optional).

DAY 7: LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAAI MARA
After breakfast you will drive past the extinct volcano of Mt. Longonot and Suswa into the homelands of the Maasai. The Maasai Mara located on Kenya’s southern border with Tanzania, constitutes the northern stretch of the Serengeti and has the richest concentration of animals in Kenya. After lunch you will have the opportunity to observe the unique world of the Maasai Mara.

DAY 8: MASAAI MARA
You will a whole day of game drives searching for the “Big Five”: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard. With the kind of vegetation Maasai Mara has it’s usually easy to spot the wildlife. For lunch you will return to the Mara Sopa Lodge.

DAY 9: MASAAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
You will later transfer to Lake Nakuru, which is famous for its notorious flocks of flamingos and pelicans. The park also boasts over 30 rhinos as well as a large population of leopards.

DAY 10: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI
Your day will start with an early morning game drive through the Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge you will drive Nairobi and end of Safari.
