16 Day Uganda Gorilla Trekking and Tanzania Wildebeest Safari
This Safari Starts in Entebbe & Ends in Arusha!
The 16 day Uganda gorilla trekking and Tanzania wildebeest safari will unleash fascinating beauty of East Africa, hidden wildlife species in their Natural among others in the different National parks of Uganda and Tanzania. This safari will start with a drive to Murchison Falls National Park for rhino tracking, hiking the fall, boat cruise and game drive. You will then transfer to Kibale forest National Park for chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk. The following day you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park for game drive and boat cruise. Then you will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park via the Ishasha sector where you will spot the tree climbing lions. In this park you will do gorilla trekking and Batwa culture. The following day you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for leisure relaxation and then transfer to Kigali to connect to your flight to Arusha. Here you will have your dinner and overnight at Runako Lodge and relax off the fatigue. In the morning after breakfast we will transfer to Ngorongoro conservation area with en route game drive as you go where you will enjoy the game drive and the culture encounter and as well visit the Ngorongoro crater. The following you will drive to Serengeti and have full day game drive in a park with wildebeest. You will also visit Seronera area for whole day game viewing. On the last of the safari, you will start will a beautiful early morning breakfast and also spend some time in the Maasai community with the Maasai people, later you will drive back to Arusha to connect to your home flight.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1- Arrival and Pick up from Entebbe International Airport and Transfer to your Hotel
Day 1 of your safari will start with a pick from Entebbe International Airport. You will be picked up from Entebbe International Airport to your hotel in Kampala by our experienced and professional guide from Bonobos African Safari Holiday. Upon arrival at your hotel, you will check in and have a rest from your long Journey.

Day 2- Transfer to Murchison falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking
After an early breakfast, our Professional guide will immediately pick you up and then kick off your adventure to Murchison falls National Park. You will briefly have a stopover at the Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary. For that reason you will get an opportunity to track the almost evidently white rhinos. Have another stopover for lunch in Masindi. Then continue to the park immediately reaching the Park you will check in and relax.

Day 3- Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise – Hike to the Top of the falls Experience
You will head out for an early morning game drive on the Northern bank. In fact part of the park is famous for its rich wildlife. For instance you will spot giraffes, Elephants, Buffaloes and if lucky lion. Then you will return back to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will also enjoy a boat cruise to the thunderous Murchison fall. During cruise you will spot crocodiles, hippos, Variety of bird species. However, depending on your level of fitness, you will also hike to the top of the falls. Here you as well see the Nile squeeze through the 8m wide gorge.

Day 4- Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park – Bigodi wetland sanctuary and Community Visit
You will have breakfast. Then depart right away for Kibale Forest National Park, you will relax from the journey. Later (after lunch), move out for the Bigodi Wetland excursion. The Bigodi boasts of an extensive array of bio-diversity including a number of primates and birds. Later, you will return to the accommodation and rest

Day 5- Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with evening game drive
After breakfast, your driver will take you to the park offices for briefing about your Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest, will then hand in your details and permits for registration and allocation of chimpanzee community to habituation
You will then be allocated to a chimpanzee community and your ranger guide will lead you on the trek in search of this great ape. Watch the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor, feed, play and rest.
Later you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with evening game drive in the park.

Day 6- Morning game drive and Afternoon boat cruise
After an early morning breakfast, you will have a morning game drive in the park with our professional driver. You will get a chance to spot the lions and other wildlife. Later in the afternoon time, you will prepare and engage in boat cruise on Kazinga channel. You will have unforgettable experience and as well good memories will be created.

Day 7- Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park through ishasha sector for tree climbing lions
After breakfast at 8:00 am, transfer to Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park in search of tree-climbing lions. It is approximately an hour’s drive from Mweya to Ishasha Gate.
In morning, lions begin climbing fig trees as they seek shelter in the tree branches from the scorching sunshine and relax after a night and morning feast on the antelopes.
In noon time transfer to Savannah Hotel for a hot lunch and later proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an evening Batwa (Pygmies) community walk.

Day 8- Gorilla trekking and Batwa Community Experience
Wake up very early in the morning for your breakfast and then hike to the park headquarters, which is a few meters from your lodge for a briefing by the park ranger before commencing the gorilla trek. Gorilla trekking is a strenuous exercise but is ranked the most rewarding wildlife experience. Since gorillas are in a natural habitat, they keep moving from place to place. You can take pictures but without a flash light or directly to a gorilla.

Day 9- Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for rest and relaxation
After your breakfast, you will drive to Lake Bunyonyi for rest and relaxation. After days of long drives and of course the hard gorilla walking the previous day in Bwindi, this day is at your disposal for relaxation. However, all meals will be served at the rooms. Optional (at extra cost): Should you wish to go out for an activity on this day may consider the following the Historical Islands’ tour, visit the Batwa/pygmies’ people, Nyombe swamp trip, Mountain Bike cycling, Zip lining, canoeing or kayaking on the lake. Furthermore, the activity can be arranged onsite with the help of your driver-guide. Lastly, enjoy your stay.

Day 11- Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for Game drive
Have an early breakfast, then you we will pick up our lunch boxes before departure for a game drive in the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. For many, this wildlife spectacle is the pinnacle of their safari experience.
The Ngorongoro Crater is home to all of the ‘Big Five’, including a small population of endangered black rhino.
After a picnic lunch, we will proceed out of the crater rim with a game drive

Day 14- Full day Wildebeest Migration Experience
Today, the game drive will start during sunrises. After a simple breakfast (a cup of coffee and snacks), the morning game drive will start at around 6:00 am where by at this time Serengeti plains is more active and great time to spot a lot of animals and birds.
At this time, animals and birds are awakenings, predators on hunt for prey, and are herbivorous feeding on grass. This becomes a great time to spot many animals and observe the real adventure such as animal hunting and to take best pictures for good memories.
