10 Days Kenya Uganda Safari Adventure is a combined tour package for Kenya and Uganda. Specifically a combined safari taking you on a visit to famous tourist destinations. Kenya Uganda Safari Adventure takes you on a visit to Maasai Mara park and Bwindi impenetrable national park the home of the critically endangered mountain gorillas. Maasai Mara is one of the most famous and important wildlife conservation and wilderness areas in Africa, world-renowned for its exceptional populations of  animals for instance lion, leopard, cheetah and African bush elephant.

Here’s what you can expect from each destination:

Maasai Mara National Reserve:

  • Key Attraction: The Great Wildebeest Migration is the most famous event in Maasai Mara. Witnessing the vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing the Mara River is a breathtaking experience.
  • Wildlife: Maasai Mara is home to the “Big Five” and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos. It also boasts an impressive diversity of other wildlife, including cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1; Arrival in Nairobi

Firstly, on your arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you’ll be met by our representative who will take you for overnight at The Sarova Panafric hotel Nairobi in a standard room booked on Bed and Breakfast.

Day 2; Nairobi Excursions Giraffe Centre

Giraffe Center is located on the edge of the Nairobi National Park and the residential area known as Karen. Visitors can observe and hand-feed Rothschild’s giraffes, which are endangered species. The Langata Giraffe Center is on the grounds of Giraffe Manor, formerly the private home of Jock and Betty Leslie-Melville.

The Giraffe Manor Africa’s pride of international celebrity. Since its founders, Jock and Betty Leslie-Melville, rescued a baby giraffe named Daisy from a heavily-poached area of western Kenya in 1974, their home has become a household name among wildlife lovers world-wide – and Daisy a star in her own right.

Day 3; Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Park

After your break first, you will be taken to Wilson Airport for your connection to the Maasai Mara. You will be met at the airstrip and drive you to the camp with some great game viewing en route. On arrival relax and freshen up in your tent before lunch is served. The tents are very spacious and have floor to ceiling mosquito netting, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, flush lavatories, solar lighting and large, river view verandahs.

The main dining room and veranda commands a dramatic stretch of the Mara River providing the perfect setting for afternoon tea and after dinner, you’ll go for star gazing. 10Day Kenya Uganda Safari, As your afternoon safari game drive comes to an end, drive to a specially chosen vantage point overlooking the Mara plains. Enjoy drinks as you take in the beauty of the rapid sunset coloring the acacia dotted plains before returning to the camp for a delicious dinner.

Day 4; Maasai Mara National Park

This morning after breakfast at the camp, you’ll venture out be led by our expert guides to explore the Mara. The Mara is a fabulous place for seeing big cats and all of the big five, a variety of plains game and over 300 bird species. The plains offer a rich variety of food for the dominant predators such as lion, leopard, hyena and cheetah. Continuously, Elephants browse amongst the large herds of wildebeest and topi, eland and buffalo, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelle.

In the Mara River, hippos submerge to stork and grumble while crocodiles sunbathe, mouths agape, on the riverbanks.10Day Kenya Uganda Safari,  From around July to October, there’s the greatest show on Earth – the wildebeest migration. Mid-afternoon high tea will be served before your next activity. During your stay there are a variety of activities that can be booked on request such as a balloon safari.

Day 5; Maasai Mara National Park

Today you might like walk with our naturalist and learn about plants, trees, insects and even how to approach animals on foot, as your guide shows you how to spot animal signs which are everywhere but not that easily noticed. Or choose from one of the options above. On your last evening drive out into the bush where a private and secluded clearing has been prepared for an elegant dinner in the middle of the wilderness.

Meanwhile, the table setting is as sophisticated and elegant as found in the finest restaurants. furthermore, candles flicker in the darkness, throwing golden lights on the table cloth as smiling waiters serve a delicious dinner. Afterward your dinner retire to the warmth of the campfire where brandies and liqueurs are served as guests relax and absorb the peace and beauty of an African night.

Day 6; Maasai Mara Nairobi – Uganda Entebbe

After your Break first, your guide will transfer you to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. On arrival you will be driven to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will be able to enjoy lunch. then depart late afternoon for your flight to Entebbe, Uganda. On arrival in Entebbe you will then be transferred to your Entebbe/Kampala hotel.

Day 7; Entebbe – Bwindi National Park

This morning after your break first, you will be picked up and transferred to Entebbe airport for your scheduled flight to Kihihi airstrip where a Sanctuary representative will meet and transfer you to the camp. meanwhile, Rushaga Gorilla Camp is located within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In the same way, it is the perfect base for a tracking experience as it offers luxury in the heart of the rain forest.

However, Lunch will be served at the camp. furthermore in the afternoon, you can just relax and take in the fresh air or take a forest walk, which is a nice way to warm up before the Gorilla tracking. While, birders come thousands of miles to see the more than 350 that live within the area. 10Day Kenya Uganda Safari, Other animals such as the rare forest elephant, giant forest hog and eleven kinds of primates, such as red tailed and blue monkey, black and white colobus, baboons and chimpanzee.

Day8; Bwindi National Park

Early break first this morning before a briefing from your guide. Tracking commences every morning from the park headquarters at 8.30 am. The gorillas we track belong to one of the ‘habituated’ family groups in Northern Bwindi. For several years each group has undergone an extremely delicate process that has gradually made them used to the presence of humans.

Experienced guides accompany you during  the tracking, many of who have been involved in the habituation process themselves. Once the gorillas are located, the group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. lastly, return to the camp for dinner.

Day 9; Bwindi National Park – Back to Entebbe

Day 10; Entebbe Airport – Back Home

After the break first, you’ll have the option of shopping around or drive to Kampala to do a city tour before you catch your flight back home. Kampala City tour to the capital of Uganda and still remains one the greenest cities of Africa.

Situated in the pearl of Africa, various tourists destinations explored prior to arrival before embarking on a Uganda safari up country. Tours in Kampala  done on foot, bicycles, motor bikes known as boda bodas, taxis, hired vehicles or a safari vans that belongs to your tour company. Thus the end of our safari.
