Murchison Falls National Park:

Commonly known as the nature wonders of Uganda. This is the starting point of the safari, and it promises exciting wildlife encounters. The combination of a game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile River offers an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals. Such as the iconic African Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros).  Meanwhile, the Murchison Falls is where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plummets into the Devil’s Cauldron, is a stunning natural spectacle.

Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary.

The sanctuary is situated approximately 176 kilometers (109 miles) north of the capital city, Kampala, and covers an area of about 7,000 hectares (17,300 acres). It provides a safe and secure environment for the rhinos to thrive and reproduce, as well as promoting education and awareness about rhino conservation.

Kibale Forest National Park:

Specifically known for its remarkable chimpanzee population, Kibale Forest allows visitors to go chimpanzee tracking and observe these primates in their natural habitat. It’s an enriching experience to learn about the behavior of these intelligent creatures and witness their interactions. However you will engage in more exciting activities like the Bigodi wetland swamp walk. The Bigodi Swamp Walk is a fascinating eco-tourism activity located near Kibale Forest National Park in Uganda.  Furthermore, it is a community-based initiative that offers visitors a chance to explore the unique wetland ecosystem of Bigodi and encounter its diverse flora and fauna.

Queen Elizabeth National Park:

This park offers a game drive and a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where visitors can spot a wide array of wildlife and bird species. The diverse landscape for instance crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains, adds to the allure of this park.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park:

Lake Bunyonyi

The safari will take you for relaxation by beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.Lake Bunyonyi is a mesmerizing and tranquil lake located in southwestern Uganda, near the town of Kabale. It is often regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in Africa, attracting travelers with its stunning scenery, serene waters, and a myriad of islands scattered throughout its expanse. The name “Bunyonyi” means “place of many little birds” in the local Rukiga language, a fitting description for the abundance of birdlife found around the lake.

Lake Mburo National Park

Lastly  our trip ends with Lake Mburo National Park. is a compact and captivating national park located in western Uganda. Despite being the smallest national park in the country, it offers a rich diversity of wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and unique experiences for visitors. The park is named after Lake Mburo, a scenic lake that forms part of its boundaries and provides a picturesque backdrop for wildlife viewing. Lake Mburo National Park is home to a variety of wildlife, including zebras, impalas, elands, topis, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, and crocodiles. It is also one of the best places in Uganda to spot wild zebras.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe-Kampala:

Nevertheless, you will be met by a representative from Bonobos African Safari Holidays who will warmly welcome you to Uganda “the Pearl of Africa”. Once done with exchanging greetings, you will be transferred to your rooms.

Day 2: Kampala-Murchison Falls:

Afterward an early breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari guide and embark on your safari adventure. In the same way, you will head northwards to Murchison falls National Park. Similarly, you will have a stopover in Nakasongola at Zziwa Rhinos sanctuary for rhino tracking. A lunch break will be in Masindi then proceed to the Park.

Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise to the bottom of the fall:

Afterward an early breakfast, you will start the day with an interesting game drive in the northern bank of the Nile whereby Standing high chances of seeing elephants, lions, giraffes, hartebeest and diverse bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch, then go for thrilling boat cruise in the afternoon as part of your safari. similarly, it will offer you an opportunity to view herds of hippos, Nile crocodiles and a variety of bird species. Meanwhile, you will spend the whole day in Murchison falls.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park-Kibale Forest National Park:

Transfer to Kibale forest national park that is famously known to have the greatest variety of Chimpanzees. Meanwhile, you will go through the Green countryside. The lunch break will be in Hoima then proceed arriving early evening.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking And Bigodi Swamp Walk:

Have breakfast at the lodge before going for chimpanzee tracking. However, the forest is sound for having the greatest number of chimpanzees in the country and East Africa as whole. While tracking these habituated chimpanzees, you will be able to see them feed, swing in the trees, and groom each other. Meanwhile, in the afternoon you will move to Bigodi swamp well-known for its unique bird species. During the walk you will also interact with the local community as they go about their daily way of life.

Day 6: Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth:

Afterward a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National park where you will peacefully be driven to the park towards the south passing via the Crater Lake area. And also appreciate the beautiful landscape with hills. Once done ,you will then continue with a game drive on arrival within the park.

Day 7: Game drive and boat cruise on the Kazinga channel:

Furthermore, you will rise up to go for an early morning game drive in Kasenyi area where you may spot elephants, buffaloes, lions and other fauna in their natural habitat. You will then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will also go for an exciting boat cruise along the Kazinga channel that links Lake Edward and Lake George. While here, you will spot herds of Hippopotamus, buffaloes taking a heart drink and a variety of bird species.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth- Bwindi Forest:

Early morning transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha Sector that is famous for its tree climbing lions. While as, the scenic beauty enroute is breathtaking as it is famously referred to the “Switzerland of Africa”

Day 9: Gorilla tracking:

Meanwhile, you will head out early this morning to the park base where you will be briefed about your Gorilla tracking experience. However, this is the most anticipated and interesting part of your safari. It is a very special and memorable walk, through the muddy and steep environments within the park before you meet any gorilla. It is a very tough walk but when you meet these great apes it is time worth spent. Lastly, you will get to spend 1 hour with them and head back to the lodge.

Day 10: Batwa cultural experience:

Therefore, today you will get an experience with some of the most ancient tribes in Uganda. Who will demonstrate to you how to make fire in the traditional way, how to make local meal, how to attend to their plantations and how to make traditional art and crafts as well as their way of life. You may also take a ride on a wooden bicycle and a lot more interesting activities.

Day 11; Drive to Lake Bunyonyi

Day 12:  Drive to Lake Mburo National Park – Evening to Night Game drive

Upon waking up, you will have an early morning breakfast as you start your day 11 of your safari, you will have breakfast and then check out of your accommodation. You will leave Lake Bunyonyi and travel to Lake Mburo National Park which is located in the western part of Uganda. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours. It is one of Uganda’s smallest but most beautiful national parks. Lake Mburo is famous for having the largest population of Zebras and Impalas in Uganda.

It is made of seasonal swamps, woody Savannah grassland that is dominated by acacia and Lakes. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge, have lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the night Game drive. Later in the evening, prepare and move out for the night game drive. Night Game drives in Lake Mburo National Park in Uganda are the most ideal for you. Notably known as the only park where you can spot an exceptional number of impalas than in any of the other Savannah parks. These game drives will also give you a wonderful experience for extraordinary sightseeing, viewing of diverse wildlife species. Through a network of game tracks tourists are able to see animals ranging from

Zebras, Impalas, giraffes, warthogs, buffaloes, hyenas. Waterbucks, elands, oribi, hippos, crocodiles, reedbucks and many others. Then after, you will be transferred to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 13: Mburo park (bush) walk

Afterward your breakfast, you will then proceed for the Mburo morning walk. In the presence of an armed Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger/guide. However, on this early morning guided walk, you will have the chance to meet with the Zebras, Giraffes and Eland, Topi and other antelope, Cape buffaloes among others.

Meanwhile, you will take the trail to the top of the hills and see Lake Mburo and beyond. Similarly, from this vantage point, you will have a great view of 9 of the twelve lakes surrounding Lake Mburo.r

Day 14:Transfer to Jinja

However, you will be moved to Jinja. However, You may use the same route. This allows you to have a second pause at the Uganda Equator. While here you will be able to stand in both the southern and Northern part at the same time. You will take pictures and buy some gifts and then continue to Kampala for lunch. You will then proceed to most daring town of Uganda which is a Home to the source of the Longest River in Africa, River Nile.

Day 15: Departure

Meanwhile, you will enjoy a boat ride to the source of the Nile and move back to Kampala. If time allows, you may pass by the Sezibwa falls as well as a cultural site in the Buganda Kingdom. The falls are also an amazing attraction. You will then be dropped.
