Murchison falls National Park.

The journey southwards will then take you to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park commonly known as the nature wonders of Uganda. This is the starting point of the safari, and it promises exciting wildlife encounters. The combination of a game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile River offers an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals. Such as the iconic African Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros).  Meanwhile, the Murchison Falls is where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plummets into the Devil’s Cauldron, is a stunning natural spectacle.

 Queen Elizabeth National Park.

The Ishasha Sector.

These lions are known to rest and perch in the branches of fig trees, providing a remarkable sight for visitors.  However, it is believed that they climb the trees to escape from the heat on the ground and to get a better vantage point for spotting prey. Apart from the unique tree-climbing lions, the Ishasha Sector is also home to other wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, antelopes, and various bird species, making it an excellent spot for wildlife viewing and photography.

Lake Mburo National Park
