Detailed Itinerary for 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Safari Bwindi
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe International Airport – Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Day 1 of the 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Safari starts at Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel. Our professional driver guide from Bonobos African Safari Holidays will meet and greet you. He will then brief you about your entire journey and thereafter embark on the 8 to 10 hours’ drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. With a stopover at the Equator line at Kayabwe to participate in the water experience. Take some coffee and pictures while standing with one leg on the Northern hemisphere and the other leg on the Southern hemisphere. Enroute to your destination, you will have a delicious lunch stopover in Mbarara City or Ajip Hotel. Finally drive to Bwindi for dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park – Gorilla Habituation Experience
Firstly, your day 2 of the 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Safari begins with an early morning Heavy breakfast as you prepare for a Unique and memorable experience in the park. Wear appropriate clothing that matches this activity. For instance a long sleeved karky or army green shirt, a pair of karky or jean trousers, waterproof boots. A round cap and a heavy sweater to protect you from the bent tree branches and also in case of bad weather. On the other hand, carry some snacks and drinking water in your back pack to keep you hydrated throughout the activity. Head to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about the Do’s and the don’ts. While you are with the Mountain Gorillas.
Secondly, after your briefing, you will be assigned a park ranger who will guide you through the Impenetrable forest and one Habituated Gorilla Family to look out for. It will take you about 1 to 3 hours to find the mountain gorillas. Depending on their location and when you have found them. Meanwhile, you will spend 4 hours with them and during this time you will learn about their ways of life and ask as many questions as possible. However, for the Bird lovers, be on the lookout for various bird species. Since the forest is also home to about 350 bird species including the handsome francolin, red headed bluebill, African blue cuckoo, Rwenzori turaco among other bird species. Later return back to the park Headquarters and receive your Certificate of Participation. Lastly head to your accommodation for late lunch, relaxation and an overnight.

Enroute to your destination you will stop at the Equator line at Kayabwe to buy some souvenirs which will keep you bonded to the “Pearl of Africa. Thus the end of your trip.
