1 Day: Move to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park:
Immediately after breakfast, you will then leave Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi. The park is home to mountain gorillas in the whole world. Similarly, it is the only place where chimpanzees co-exist with Gorillas in Uganda. Eventually, you will have a brief stopover at the Equator for photography. Meanwhile you will continue to Mbarara town for lunch. After lunch, you will finally go for your lovely drive to Bwindi NP.

2 Day: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National Park:
Done with the morning breakfast, you will then drive to the park headquarters. You will join others for registration. While here, you will be briefed about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. Once this is done, you will certainly trek through thick vegetation with your guides to find the Gorillas. This can take you from half an hour to three quarters of the day.
The steep landscape is not only thick but marked by many animal trails. This allows access to tourists. On your gorilla trek, you are likely to see other primates, birds and rare tree species. On finding them, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them. You will then head back to the Park offices. This is indeed a special feeling being with these beautiful creatures. You will then be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking. Therefore you will contribute to the conservation of mountain gorillas.

Afterward your breakfast, you will then travel to Kampala or Entebbe. For your post-tour stay you may opt to fly out of Uganda. However you may use the same route. This allows you to have a second stopover at the Equator and lunch. Thus the end of the trip.
