5 Day Maasai Mara/Nakuru Nevertheless, this safari covers the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru, which is home to hundreds of thousands of flamingos, pelicans and numerous other bird life, Lake Naivasha and Hell’s Gate.   1. Maasai Mara National Reserve:
  • Key Attraction: The Great Wildebeest Migration is the most famous event in Maasai Mara. Witnessing the vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing the Mara River is a breathtaking experience.
  • Wildlife: Maasai Mara is home to the “Big Five” and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos. It also boasts an impressive diversity of other wildlife, including cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from either the airport or your hotel in Nairobi at around 8:30 am and then make your way to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Eventually, 5Day Maasai Mara/Nakuru you’ll stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint along the way. After a picnic lunch, you will make your way into the Mara and then proceed on an evening game drive. While, dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Lenchada Camp (or similar).

Accommodation option:

Lenchada Tourist Camp is a Budget tented camp located just outside Maasai Mara NR

Meals & Drinks:

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 2: Maasai Mara National Reserve

Afterward an early breakfast, you will make your way into this special park with a picnic lunch in hand. Furthermore, 5Day Maasai Mara/Nakuru you will have the chance to visit the Mara River, which borders the Mara and the Serengeti. There will be a large mass of animals here during the time you will be traveling! Finally, all meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Lenchada Tourist Camp is a Budget tented camp located just outside Maasai Mara NR

Meals & Drinks:

Day 3: Maasai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After an early morning game drive, 5Day Maasai Mara/Nakuru you will return for a late breakfast and then make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park. However, if time permits, you can go for a boat ride at Lake Naivasha Crescent Island. While, dinner and your overnight stay will be at either the Lannet Matfam Hotel or Golden Palace.

Main Destination: Lake Nakuru National Park

Lannet Matfam Resort is a Budget hotel located just outside Lake Nakuru NP

Meals & Drinks:

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

Afterward an early breakfast, you will spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will have the chance to see some of the 350 bird types that have been recorded here. This is also home to the black and white rhinoceros.

Indeed, this park was established for the protection of species such as the rhino, Columbus monkeys, leopards, giraffes and a variety of plain antelope. Afterward, 5Day Maasai Mara/Nakuru you will depart to the nearby Lake Naivasha, eating a picnic lunch along the way. While, dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Taphe Guest House.

Taphe Guest Resort is a Budget hotel located in or near Lake Naivasha

Meals & Drinks:

  • All meals included
  • Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Hell’s Gate – Nairobi

Afterward an early breakfast,5Day Maasai Mara/Nakuru you will proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you will have a chance to visit the geothermal power plant in Ol Karia and the hot springs. However, this is the only park that allows you to get around both on foot or by bike.

Similarly, you may go for an optional boat ride to Crescent Island, where you can watch hippos and other wild animals. After lunch, you will make your way to Nairobi, arriving in time for a 5:00 pm drop-off at your hotel.

Main Destination: Lake Naivasha

Accommodation option:

Meanwhile, there is no accommodation. Thus end of tour
