6-Day Amboseli, Maasai Mara & Lake Nakuru Budget Safari.

This 6 Day Amboseli safari is to visit three of the beautiful parks in Kenya. Such as Amboseli National Park at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain which is 5895m in Kilimanjaro and is one of the most liked in Kenya’s national parks. Lake Nakuru best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores and also rich in wildlife like Rothschild giraffes and black rhinos. Then proceed to the rolling plains of Maasai Mara where amazing wildebeest migration happens.

Here’s what you can expect from each destination:

  1. Maasai Mara National Reserve:
  • Key Attraction: The Great Wildebeest Migration is the most famous event in Maasai Mara. Witnessing the vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing the Mara River is a breathtaking experience.
  • Wildlife: Maasai Mara is home to the “Big Five” and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos. It also boasts an impressive diversity of other wildlife, including cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species.

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli National Park

On arrival at JKIA International Airport, you will be met by our representative and briefed on your safari. Afterwards,6Day Amboseli depart and drive south to Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. furthermore, Game viewing is en route with the immense grandeur of Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. However, your lunch will be at AA Lodge Amboseli. Spend the afternoon at leisure then enjoy an evening game drive.

Amboseli, is at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain, 5895m Kilimanjaro,6Day Amboseli is one of the most popular of Kenya’s national parks. Amboseli provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. In the same way, set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Furthermore, against this magnificent backdrop, roams vast herds of elephants accompanied by lions, buffalo, cheetahs, giraffes, baboons, gazelles, hippos and wildebeests. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna. Dinner and your overnight stay are at AA lodge Amboseli or equivalent.

Day 2: Amboseli National Park

It’s another exciting day in Amboseli National Park. We recommend that you get up early in the morning where one can experience excellent game viewing and an unprecedented view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Afterwards, return to your lodge for breakfast.

However, you may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long, or simply relax at your lodge and take in the African wilderness. You’ll then have afternoon game drives in anticipation of seeing the “Big Five”. lastly, dinner and your overnight stay are at AA Lodge Amboseli.

Day 3: Amboseli National Park-Lake Nakuru National Park

Meanwhile, you’ll have breakfast at the hotel. Depart and drive towards the Great Rift Valley viewing scenery, having a stopover at the viewpoint en-route arriving at the pink lake often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos. furthermore, you’ll check-in at Midland Hotel Nakuru, have lunch and then proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park with many animals.

During the game drive, you will see the huge numbers of flamingos that are concentrated along the lakeshore. In addition to the birdlife for which Lake Nakuru is so well known, 6Day Amboseli there are many different wildlife species in the park including lions, leopards, black rhinos, white rhinos, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, zebras, impalas and waterbucks. while, dinner and your overnight stay will be at Midland Hotel or equivalent.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park-Maasai Mara National Reserve

Have an early breakfast, then depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is on the south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, and then past Narok, climb the western wall entering Hemingway’s country ‘Serengeti plains’. Arrive in time for lunch at Enkorok Mara Camp. furthermore in the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. lastly, dinner and your overnight stay will be at Enkorok Mara camp.

Meanwhile, Enkorok Mara Camp  is also a Mid-range tented camp located just outside Maasai Mara NR

Day 5: Maasai Mara National Reserve

On this  6Day Amboseli, you’ll have a full day at this known reserve searching for wild game with an option to enjoy a balloon safari. You can either carry a picnic lunch or have lunch at the camp. A visit to the Maasai villages is also an option.

Furthermore, the Mara is the land of African legend lions are abundant throughout the park, as are the elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle’s types and zebras. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly seen and less commonly, rhinos 2q2.

The annual wildebeest migration is one of nature’s few remaining wildlife spectacles that occurs in the Mara from July to September where the big animals and their predators are to be present in abundance during the time frame of this trip.

In addition to6Day Amboseli, several types of bee-eater, the flying rainbow that heads the list of Mara’s birds also occur in the reserve. Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai tribe who may be seen around the borders of the park, Moran’s. Lastly, you’ll return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at Enkorok Mara camp.

Day 6: Maasai Mara-Nairobi

Have breakfast at the camp then depart for Nairobi with a game drive en-route. However, 6Day Amboseli a stop is provided at Narok Town, the Maasai city where you can buy handicrafts and gifts. Furthermore, on arrival, have lunch at an extra cost in Nairobi at one of the city hotels. Later do last minute shopping at one of the markets. After shopping, transfer to the airport to arrive in time for your international final departure. Thus end of your 6Day Amboseli safari.
