This 6 Day Classic Kenyan Safari safari takes you to the most famous park in Kenya. All accommodation will be in a very comfortable permanent tented camp in which you have options to choose your preference. You will be touring in a luxury private safari vehicle with a driver-guide all throughout your safari and back to Nairobi.

Here’s what you can expect from each destination:

Maasai Mara National Reserve:

• Key Attraction: The Great Wildebeest Migration is the most famous event in Maasai Mara. Witnessing the vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles crossing the Mara River is a breathtaking experience.
• Wildlife: Maasai Mara is home to the “Big Five” and offers excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos. It also boasts an impressive diversity of other wildlife, including cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and various antelope species.
• Maasai Culture: Interact with the Maasai people and learn about their traditional way of life and unique customs.

Lake Nakuru National Park:

• Key Attraction: Lake Nakuru is famous for its large population of pink flamingos that gather along its shores, creating a breathtaking pink spectacle. The park is also home to both black and white rhinos.
• Wildlife: Besides flamingos and rhinos, you can spot various other bird species and wildlife, including lions, leopards, buffalos, and giraffes.

Amboseli National Park:

• Key Attraction: Amboseli is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. The backdrop of the snow-capped mountain provides an incredible setting for wildlife photography.
• Wildlife: Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants, and you can also see lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and numerous bird species.

Detailed itinerary for classic Kenyan safari

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara

You will be met by our company representative on arrival at the airport or your Nairobi Hotel. He or she will introduce you to your guide/driver and brief you. After the briefing, you will leave Nairobi at 07:00 driving southwards to Maasai Mara.

You will have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewing point for a short photo session. Drive further southwards arriving in Mara on time for lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. Relax after lunch after the long journey till 16:00. Leave the camp for an evening game drive till 18:30.

Maasai Mara is renowned for the spectacular great migration that takes place from July through October. Nevertheless,6Day Classic Kenyan Safari. it is an all-year-round destination that never disappoints. You can spot all of the Big Five (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant & Cape buffalo) at any time of the year.

Day 2: Maasai Mara

Have breakfast at 0630hrs,6Day Classic Kenyan Safari. and then leave the lodge at 07:00 with packed picnic lunch. Enjoy a full-day game drive in search of animals in this park. Among the animals, you can look forward to seeing include the Maasai Giraffe, Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, elephants, hippos, crocodiles,

Thompson’s gazelles, Grant’s gazelles, impalas, topis, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, hyenas, klipspringer, waterbuck, bushbuck, Coke’s hartebeest, black rhino, eland, baboons, fox, jackals as well as numerous bird species including ostrich, cormorants, grebes, storks, falcons, bastards among others. Return to the lodge in the evening to enjoy the lodge facilities and relax awaiting dinner.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Wake up early and enjoy an early breakfast at 06:00. Check out and depart the lodge. Leave Maasai Mara for another long drive to the famous Lake Nakuru. Arrive on time for lunch at the Flamingo Hill Camp. Relax after lunch and later proceed for an evening game drive at 16:00.

The lake is situated on the floor of the Great Rift Valley,6Day Classic Kenyan Safari. surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic, and game drives. Return to the camp at 18:30 for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli

Enjoy an early breakfast,6 Day Classic Kenyan Safari. and then leave Lake Nakuru National Park with a game drive en-route. Another long and easy drive to Amboseli National Park branded the Kilimanjaro royal court. Arriving on time for lunch at the camp.

Relax after lunch and proceed for an evening game drive thereafter. You will be amazed by the herds of free-ranging elephants in this park. 4 of the big five are also residents in this park so you can expect a treat. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at 18:30.

Day 5: Amboseli National Park

Leave the camp after breakfast, 6Day Classic Kenyan Safari. and then prepare for a full day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game like antelopes and birds can also be seen and Mt Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We will cater for picnic lunches and then return overnight to the camp.

Day 6: Departure

Early morning game viewing to track the wild cat as they normally hunt and see the sunrise while in the park. Later,6Day Classic Kenyan Safari. we will return to the camp for full breakfast leave Amboseli National Park for or Emali town for a few minutes stopover and lunch. Later proceed to Nairobi where you will be dropped at the airport to catch your flight home.
