This 6-day safari takes you to Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi Impenetrable and Lake Bunyonyi. Kibale forest is endowed with chimpanzee, baboon, red colobus, black and white colobus, L’Hoest’s, red-tailed, vervet, and blue monkeys. Besides, Chimpanzee trekking is one of the most popular and common activities done in Kibale national park. On top of that Queen Elizabeth National Park offers animal viewing like African elephant, African buffalo, Ugandan kob, hippopotamus, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, Nile crocodile, leopard, spotted hyena, chimpanzee and lion. But for Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park offers mountain Gorilla trekking, bird watching tours, Gorilla Habituation Experience, hiking and nature walks among others.

Day 1: Move from Kibale Forest – Bigodi Swamp Walk
You will be picked up at around 7:00 am from your hotel by our guide who will brief you about your tour and then depart for Kibale Forest, about 5 hours’ drive. Post lunch,6 Day Kibale you will be taken for Bigodi Wetland home walk.
This is a guided swamp walk that takes you closer to see animals mostly monkeys, birds and butterflies. The wetland is a bird paradise with about 138 species and is best known for being home to the Great Blue Turaco.
This is a 2- 3 hour walk and is a must for bird lovers. You will need good walking shoes since part of the walk is sometimes muddy. Hopefully 6Day Kibale you will spot the elusive Sitatunga antelope and the shoebill stork. This is nothing to be missed. You will meet some of the animals here, even a chimpanzee at times.
Other animal types include the black and white Columbus, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed, L’Hoest’s and blue monkeys, and olive baboons. Also, bushbucks, mongooses and many more can also be found here. Meanwhile, dinner and overnight will be at the lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of animal type in the world, including the chimpanzees. while, about 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them!
The park is liked for its animal’s folk like the chimpanzees, Colobus monkeys, red-cheeked and red-tailed monkeys. On your chimpanzee trails, they are regularly seen swinging in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits.
An experienced ranger will take you chimp tracking in the morning around 6:30 am. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will return to the lodge for lunch after which you will head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. This will take around two and a half hours of drive. You will arrive in the evening. while, dinner and your overnight stay will be at Engiri Game Lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise at Queen Elizabeth – Ishasha Sector
Your day will begin early at 6:30 am. The sunrise time is usually the best time to see animals in their natural homes. Heading off for a game drive at the break of dawn, you will be able to see Africa’s highly famed “Big Four”, bushbucks, giant hogs, antelopes, waterbucks and plenty of birds.
You will finish your game drive and then return to the room just in time for lunch. After your lunch, you will go for a two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga means which links Lakes George and Lake Edward.
You will surely be lured by the mass of giant hippos, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores. After the boat cruise, move to Ishasha Sector for dinner and your overnight will be at The River Ishasha Lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive at Ishasha Sector – Bwindi Impenetrable forest
You’ll have early morning game drives at Ishasha sector to see the tree-climbing lions, if you are lucky. Post lunch, transfer to Bwindi National park.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a big home for mountain gorillas in Uganda harboring an estimated 400 mountain gorillas—roughly half of the world’s number, including several seasoned groups, which can be tracked. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically varied rain-forests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 types of plants.
With a hard day ahead, 6Day Kibale you will check into your room, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla walking meeting the following day. while, dinner and your overnight room will be provided at Rushaga Gorilla Havens Lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi Tour
Have an early morning breakfast, and then move to the park base to join other trackers in a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules at 7:45 am. Trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take you 1-8 hours.
The steeply forested view is amazingly think but crisscrossed by many animal trails allowing access by tourists. You will have one hour to stay with the gorillas once sited. Afterwards, move to Lake Bunyonyi. The drive will be through a beautiful part of the country often referred to as ‘the Switzerland of Africa’ because of its unique cool weather despite being near the Equator.
This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa [900 meters deep] and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim as it is bilharziasis free. You will take a canoe on this lake. Later, dinner and your overnight will be at Safari Resort.

Day 6: Hike around Lake Bunyonyi and Later return to Entebbe
After your break first, you will hike around different hills and the view around the lake is made up of terraced hills protruding from the water’s edge. Bunyonyi means “place of little birds” and as the name suggests, there is plenty of birdlife around the lake. After you wards, you will be moved back to Entebbe.
