This 6 Day Tsavo Diani Beach trip combines both bush and beach safari experience. You begin with a wildlife safari experience in Amboseli national park where you come face-to-face with large herds of African elephant. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro crown your experience.

Proceed on to Tsavo west national park where you have a chance to encounter the legendary man-eaters. Culminate your safari in Diani beach for total relaxation and sample beach activities.

Amboseli National Park:

• Key Attraction: Amboseli is renowned for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa. The backdrop of the snow-capped mountain provides an incredible setting for wildlife photography.

Tsavo East National Park:

Tsavo West National Park:

• Landscape: Tsavo West is characterized by rugged terrain, volcanic hills, and diverse landscapes, including open plains, lava fields, and acacia woodlands.
• Wildlife: The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including the “Big Five,” as well as hippos, crocodiles, gazelles, zebras, and a rich variety of birdlife.
• Mzima Springs: This oasis in the park provides a unique opportunity to see underwater life through an underwater observatory. Hippos and crocodiles can often be seen in the crystal-clear waters.
• Shetani Lava Flows: These black lava flows are remnants of ancient volcanic activity and offer a striking contrast to the surrounding landscapes.

Diani Beach:

• Located about 30 kilometers south of Mombasa, Diani Beach is a paradise for beach enthusiasts. The beach features palm-fringed shores, crystal-clear waters, and a laid-back atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation, water sports, and beach activities.

Detailed itinerary for Diani beach

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

We will meet and welcome you upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi. meanwhile,6Day Tsavo our guide will meet you at your hotel in Nairobi in the morning for a short safari briefing after which you will proceed to Amboseli National Park (about 4 hours’ drive) which lies in the southern part of Kenya close to Tanzania border.

You will check in at AA Lodge Amboseli in time for lunch. After lunch you have time to relax before enjoying an evening game drive where you have chances to see herds of elephants, buffaloes, hyena, impala and some of the big cats.

You also get to see the majestic Mt Kilimanjaro on a clear evening. Back at the lodge in the evening, you will enjoy a nice dinner and later unwind at a camp fire where you can interact with other travelers till bed time.

Day 2: Amboseli – Tsavo West

Wake up to bird melodies and set off on a sunrise game drive before breakfast. Thereafter,6Day Tsavo you leave Amboseli for the vast Tsavo West National Park. Tsavo East and West forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust–red elephants, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbuck and over 500 bird species.

You will check in at the lodge in time for lunch and can freshen up before setting off on an afternoon game drive till dusk with good chances of seeing the amazing African sunset. The evening at the lodge is relaxed, with nice dinner and camp fire till bed time.  Later you may wake up to see the resident leopard known to visit the lodge at night most of the time.

Day 3: Tsavo East National Park

Afterward your breakfast, you will check out and enjoy game viewing drive as you exit the park to head to Tsavo East National Park. Once inside the park, embark on game drives. This is a vast park known for wild red elephants and big cats. The topography is scenic savanna woodlands.

You will check in at Ash nil Aruba Lodge in time for lunch after which you can rest for a while before setting off on an evening game drive. Spend another lively evening with natural surrounding and scents. Nights are peaceful with occasional animal growls.

Day 4: Diani Beach

You will have a relaxed morning to enjoy breakfast before leaving for Diani beach. Check in by lunch time. Thereafter,6Day Tsavo you can relax and enjoy the lush garden with large pool, the white sand beach, crystal clear ocean water, comfortable big room and great food on an all-inclusive basis.

Furthermore, Diani beach has a white sandy beach with clear waters, colorful reef and vibrant aquatic life. You can choose to simply enjoy the all-inclusive service of the resort with a cocktail in the pool, lying under a palm tree at the beach or in the lush garden of the Diani Sea Resort.

You can also try out some of the many water sports and other activities the resort offers such as snorkeling, wind surfing or simply go swimming in the warm sea. Evenings are lively with plenty of food, drinks and entertainment till bed time.

Day 5: Diani Beach

In the evening you can relax and enjoy in-house entertainment or step out and see a bit of Diani at night.

Day 6: Return to Nairobi via Mombasa
