Murchison Falls National Park: Commonly known as the nature wonders of Uganda. This is the starting point of the safari, and it promises exciting wildlife encounters. The combination of a game drive and a boat cruise on the Nile River offers an opportunity to see a wide variety of animals. Such as the iconic African Big Five (lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros). Meanwhile, the Murchison Falls is where the Nile River squeezes through a narrow gorge and plummets into the Devil’s Cauldron, is a stunning natural spectacle.
Detailed itinerary
Day 1 Arrival from the Airport
Our Safaris guide will pick you up from the airport and start the drive to the legendary Murchison Falls National Park. This Park is one of Uganda’s largest conservation areas and boast of 76 mammal species and 451 bird species that thrive in the open savannah and tropical forests. You will have an en-route visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the southern white rhinos while here you will enjoy a walking safari to the rhinos. After lunch, continue to the park and Proceed to your Lodge. Enjoy an evening game drive in the park.

Day 2; Game drive in Murchison NP
After an early breakfast, proceed to have a game drive. Drive in the open African savanna in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest. Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and enjoy spotting various Bird species. This is a beautiful drive across savannah, Borassus Palm Forest and grassland down to Lake Albert. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride to the bottom of the falls. Enjoy these spectacular falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meter gap. Thereafter drive back to the lodge.
