Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
Firstly, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park via Kampala- Masaka road (7hrs). However stop at the equator for a brief tour and continue to Mbarara for lunch. Then check in at Mweya safari lodge/ Mweya hostel. Go for an evening game drive to Katwe town. Later check out the saline lake and other several crater lakes. Also you may see buffalos and warthogs on the road.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Trip
Meanwhile, go for an early morning game drive to Kasenyi plains around the Kazinga channel. Lots of game to see such as herds of elephants, buffalos, Defassa waterbuck, leopards, bush buck, giant forest hogs among g others. Later after lunch embark on a launch trip on the Kazinga channel and gaze at the beautiful scenery of the park. Also check out the hippos, crocodiles, thirsty animals taking water along the banks. Lots of water birds for instance shoebill, marabous stock, papyrus Gonolek, pelicans, and white- bellied cormorants among others. Finally return to the lodge.

Day 3:Kyambura Gorge Chimpanzee Tracking – Departure
Go early morning to Kyambura gorge for chimpanzee tracking and look out for other primates for instance the black and white colobus, olive baboons, red tailed monkeys and potto, L’Hoest monkey. Lastly have lunch and head back to Kampala. Thus End of tour.
