Day 1: Arrival at Kigali City and then leave for Bwindi National Park.

However, the guide will pick you up from Kigali Airport or down Kigali and drive to Bwindi National Park since the drive to Uganda will go through Rwanda’s northern town of Ruhengeri thereafter you will then cross over into Uganda via Cyanika or Katuna border post.

Meanwhile, the trip will continue straightaway through the nearby Kisoro or Kabale town to Bwindi national park which will take about 4-5 hrs. arriving early afternoon. In the same way, you’ll be allowed to do optional activities such as hiking, visiting the Batwa people, coffee-making experience, and so much more.

Furthermore,3Day Gorilla Trekking Safari leaving Kigali latest at noon guarantees you arriving early evening (note that Uganda’s time is one hour ahead of Rwanda) incase time allows depending on the pickup time in Kigali, you’ll then do a complimentary Kigali city tour, visit the Kigali Genocide Museum and Kimihurura market before traveling to Uganda.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Adventure in Bwindi National Park.

Furthermore, you will head straight to Bwindi gate immediately after breakfast you’ll get a briefing about the gorilla trek as the park guide conducts the presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek.

Thereafter, will be assigned to the gorilla trekking group while waiting for other visitors to join you during the briefing. Lastly, the gorilla trek may take few or more hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest as you prepare for dinner and overnight at the Bwindi-based lodge.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi National Park to Kigali city (optional activities available)

However, this is the final day of the 3-day tour so it will start with breakfast and then afterward, you’ll be driven from Bwindi to Kigali a drive of about 4-5 hours though it’s an enjoyable trip with a pause at the Uganda – Rwanda border so as to clear with immigration and proceed to Kigali.

Otherwise if time allows, before you leave to Kigali, you may choose to do one of these optional activities that is to say the

1) Golden monkey walking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (takes 4-5hrs)

2) Coffee Making Experience near Kisoro town – experience how local farmers plant, harvest, and roast coffee (2hrs)

3) Sunrise canoe trekking at Lake Mutanda –by wooden canoe or engine boat.

4) Batwa Cultural meeting – For instance learn about the history and culture of the Batwa indigenous peoples of east and central Africa.
